Blissful October 🍃🍁🍂
I’m ready to say goodbye to September and blessed to meet you, October.
I’m not worried about tomorrow; I’m just depending on the Lord to continue to guide my steps into a beautiful journey of NEW. A new(ing) in Him and all that He has to offer. I have to admit though, in September I wasn’t as intentional as I would have liked, but I can’t blame anyone but myself. I had to ask myself, “What will September say about me?” And because you are here, let me ask you, “what will September say about you?”
Were you lazy? Did you give it your all? Will September be able to speak to your integrity if it were to open its mouth on your behalf? But don’t get it confused. I’m not speaking to if you had integrity at your job, the job or career working for man. I am speaking about the inner you. What were you supposed to work on to not bring shame upon yourself when it pertains to your call, the purpose the Lord put within you?

I hate to admit but I can accept accountability. I missed the mark but strive to do better in October than I did in September. Now, I know October is a couple of weeks away, but I was told a wise person would get into preparation, and as we all know, preparation means being made ready.
Are you getting into preparation? Are you ready to give October your all? Will there be distractions that will cause you hindrance and delay? Whatever that’s distracting you, is it worth your true freedom and happiness?
Did you know that when we don’t do what the Lord put within us to do, it is us being in disobedience? It’s us telling the Lord with our actions that we’d rather distract ourselves with things and people we feel are worth our inheritance. Did you know that? But when you pay attention, it’s actually deeper than what we think. Failure to fulfill the Lord’s calling and to take the assignment seriously can result from a lack of faith and trust in God, as well as fear.
Fear of what He is calling you to do, which doesn’t look traditional, so it makes you uncomfortable. Your second guess of who you think is yourself, but it’s actually the Holy Spirit. We have to be careful not to grieve the Spirit. So, with that being said… You are not alone. Let’s put our best foot forward, and because we have so many things and beings that’s counting on our downfall, we can’t depend on ourselves.
Let’s do our best to consider or, more like, acknowledge the Lord… Acknowledge means to accept or admit the existence or truth, but they forgot to mention the truth about God.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.
Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. Proverbs 3:5-10.
